Rainy Day Reads

Blogs That Are Worth The Read

Scribe-ly – Shameless self-promotion here.  Scribe-ly is my second blog where I post my creative writing, poetry and the like.  If you find yourself with a free moment, please drop in and have a look around!

The Kindness Blog – When you need a little kindness in your day, or you need your faith in humanity restored, this blog has exactly what you need.  It’s made me laugh, made me cry, and left me smiling and loving humanity just a little more.  Warning – this source of kindness can be extremely addictive!

Spirits and The Paranormal, Don’t Be Afraid – ‘Spirit are just like us, but dead.’  If you’re interested in the paranormal, I highly recommend this blog.  The author is a wonderful woman and friend, living in England by way of Scotland, by way of New Zealand, and shares her life and experiences as a White Lighter, wife and mother.

Sass & Balderdash – The Author (Katie) is a self-proclaimed ‘Sasshole’ who always provides a laugh.  She’s had some truly inspirational personal successes, and most days, reading her blog is like reading the thoughts of a stand-up comic.

Ben’s Bitter Blog – Full of bitter bitterness, Ben’s satirical blog is always good for a laugh, and a fresh reminder of all we have to be bitter about in this world!

Stunted Adults – Co-written, this blog chronicles the misadventures of three friends attempting to navigate through adult life.  With hilarious recountings of being pulled over by the police… while jogging, to saving a spouse from a killer deer, these Three Mouseketeers will have you laughing like the Three Stooges before they’re through!

Project Light To Life – Follow Christine on her journey to cross things off of her bucket list, while she encourages and inspires the rest of us to create and complete our own.  You won’t be able to resist her funny charm and infectious smile as she tempts you to live your life to the fullest, and eek out every last experience your heart’s been desiring!

If you would like to nominate a blog for this page, please contact me at KraftedKhaos@gmail.com, with ‘Rainy Day Blog Recommendation’ in the subject line.
