So, a friend of ours came by last night, and she’s been telling me for a few weeks now that she had something ‘up her sleeve’ regarding my art, and has been very excited about it while at the same time leaving me in total suspense. She has finally shared what the big secret was, and she is opening up an art gallery-like business, but instead of just being art, it will have all sorts of artistic mediums, including jewelry, etc., and she has asked me if I would be interested in being one of the artists whose art they will be displaying on the walls (and for sale)!
I’m extremely excited about this, and it means I will have to pick out, print, mount and frame several pieces. No one except my mother has ever wanted to display my artwork before, so I am very excited about this opportunity!
It will surely be a few weeks or months before the work is hung, but when it is, I’ll be sure to post a picture of it!
That’s all, I just wanted to share that bit of exciting news with all of my wonderful followers and friends!

Well technically your not an artist till you sell your art. But that is fantastic news. Its always so exciting to see someone you care about selling their art and as the wife of an artist I get so proud. My Mr got an offer from our landlords Dad for the painting Mr did me lol its hard for him though because i never want to see them sold. His photography stuff that hes had in galleries always does well and i promise when we have paid off this move I will buy a set of your prints. I think they would look amazing in my new kitchen. It just cost 2k more than we expected lol I know which ones I want too lol

*hugs* you’re such a peach! Perhaps, since there are some you know you want, the two of us may be able to work out a trade, since you know there’s one of the pieces that Mr has done that I have my eye on… if he’s amenable to the idea, that is. Just something to think about 🙂

LOL… well, it *is* for the house, if they’re going in the kitchen… so instead of paying with cash, he’s just trading 😀 I will have to get my pieces together, so you can see all of the ones I have, because I have quite a few that I haven’t posted on my blog, that you might like better… and I just finished some new ones.
I haven’t spoken to my printer yet about the maximum size that each one can be printed (some of my pictures were taken on a smaller resolution, so they can’t be made quite as big as others can… and I know if they are made too big, they’ll get pixelated and/or blurry) but as soon as I get those details figured out, I’ll let you know 🙂

Lol as soon as I saw my new kitchen I thought ‘Krafteds art would look great in here’ can you fit two on an A4? I’m just thinking of keeping costs down.

I can completely understand! I have my first book reading coming up at the end of the month and I’m so nervous about it. Totally stressed out that I’ll make a fool of myself in front of all those kids.
